Black screen overlay

By "black screen overlay" you already understand what I mean to say as I want that there have to be an action of black screen overlay.
which shows a black screen but has a normal working apps in the background.
Also there have some time like it will show black screen for 1min or 5min........etc or show an image instead of black screen as there is an action already of animation overlay but I didn't found any of these overlays normal which has to be

I googled real fast how to show an image using html but couldn't get it to work. Can you tell me what did i do wrong? Sorry to bother, but may also be useful for many more Thank you!

Dim is not useful actually I need a pure black image overlay which will cover my full screen and still don't know how to do can u help me by giving those html....(Working)

You can just click a space and enter few times, increase text size and that should be it.
Out of curiosity tho - why is dim action not useful?
